Inveni Percussion & Trombone (IPT) is a social justice oriented organization with the mission of creating and performing new music of underrepresented composers and performers such as women, queer people and people of color. IPT is focused on 2 central goals:

1. Engage in quality musical acts that demonstrate beauty in conception and execution.

2. Include a range of composers, performers, venues and collaborators that represent the diversity of our natural world.​
