These are live recordings from a recital as part of Ben Zisook's MM in Performance at DePaul University.
Pastorale is an original work by Eric Ewazen. The work was adapted for piano, tenor trombone and bass trombone by Douglas Yeo but in this version orchestrated by IPT Founder Ben Zisook the piano parts are expanded into parts for 2 marimbas players and 1 harpist.
Rachmaninov's Vocalise was originally composed for orchestra and soprano singer. This version of Rachmaninov's Vocalise is by Virginia Allen of the Curtis Institute for music and was intended for tuba. It has been re-orchestrated from the piano to 2 marimbas and features bass trombone instead of tuba.
